Amazonian cuisine includes many freshwater fish such as peixe nobre, the pirarucu (the world’s largest fish).
There are fish dishes like paiche is a very popular meaty texture. Catching one of these prized fish can be enough to keep a large family going for an entire week.

Meat dishes : 

Although not as prevalent given in the nature of the region, there are still a wide variety of filling meat like cecina (pork) is the most common. 

Fruits:

In the Amazonas jungle is filled with a huge number of sweet and exotic fruits used to make a wide variety of colourful drinks , desserts, sauces or breakfast juice .
Examples: acerola or camu which contains an astonishing amount of vitamin C.
